being at the final game I think you kind of see what goes on where the camera doesn´t point Greece played a tough defence game they are strong in the air and were smart on defence if anyone saw the game you would know ther tacks and how the did play as a team.skillfully they are not 100 percent but they know each other well and there coach came up with an old style of soccer which threw all the big teams off. Greece took advantage by getting the first goal and then using what was best and it was to defend the lead because if you saw the game you would see Portugal not building up in the middle of the field instead they were using the wings and crossing it in which with a defencive team like greece is very difficult because they would just head the ball out. Greece had a tremmendous tornement and surprised there Country. While I was there watching the games you would see all types of fans like of course England,France,Spain no word of a lie Through out my month and a half stay there I saw maybe 15 Greek fans. On the day of the game I went to Rossio and as I was getting out of the tunnels IT was like it exploded with bandwagon Greek fans I´m sorry but I was talking to some greek people and they couldn´t even name 5 players from there team. I later learned that 90 flights left Athens to Lisbon that day Jump on it I guess. Another reason why Greece was decent was that there players simply do not play as many league games as portuguese players do they all play for top clubs. I don´t hate Greeks I thought they did what other teams were lacking congrats but I´m a die hard Portuguese man forever I was lucky to be there and I was really lucky to meet some of the players for Portugal they are great guys and they wanted it more then what the Tabloids said . So this photo is bad but hey guys my portuguese brothers and sisters raise you heads because it is just starting to happen this team will be the team and they will surprise us all

Why u dont understand about sense of humour? We all know that Figo is a great player, we all know that we dont have such a player in our team, we know that we played more defence than you (but the teamwork and cooperation i think was the best that football has ever seen) and that´s how we won the euro!
What makes me sad is that you are angry and u say not real stuff! First of all, Rehagel was NOT SHOUTING the players to go back to defence BUT TO LEAVE THE DEFENCE and "OPEN" the game! If you can undestand football stacy...
And second of all, Greeks are so proud of their country whatever happens, Sports is just sports, please dont generalize it, because if we speak abput history, and which nation should be the proudest in the world you will know my answer! If it wasnt for Greece, sports would never exist! We would fight with lions in colosseum like the romans!
