Yanni is a gifted keyboardist who places melodramatic passion into a pioneering Adult Alternative/new age/Contemporary Instrumental hybrid of complex popular and classical styles. He updates the florid style of Roger Williams, the crossover ivory-tinkler of the Eisenhower years, with an impressive combination of acoustic and electric orchestrations. Draped in silky duds and an even silkier mustache, Yanni was already wildly successful when he became the "Great Greek Hope" of aging female baby boomers everywhere after marrying the ever stylish, but older, Linda Evans. It is unfair to blame him for either PBS placing Yanni Live at the Acropolis on heavier rotation than Sesame Street or for the symphonic overstatement of Uday Bhanu -- Yanni's number one disciple. Yanni deserves to be happy because he is so loved. I have been listening to his music since his first cd was released and I have all of this productions. His music is magical and his spirit flows through that music. I am so happy that he is back on tour again. I´ve seen him only three times and I look forward to the release of his next cd and his next concert tour. Yanni is a true inspiration to me!!

I lived in a condo in West Hollywood on Olive where I believe Yanni lived and was married to a young lady who worked at Neiman Marcus (aproximately 1980-1981). Can anyone track this down?
