Anne Murray is the greatest female singer of all time. She has been in the music business since 1966 and she is still going strong. She has a rich swmooth voice that can bring tears of joy to your eyes. DeeDee, why you say she hurts your ears is beyond me! You have to be deaf. Her home is Canada and Canadians are very proud of her and the success she has in her career. I once told Anne that she has staying power. How many artists from years ago are still in the business? MOst of them have gone off into the sun set and disappeared. After almost 40 years, Anne still sells out all her venues where she plays and she still sells millions of records. Anne Murray is an icon and the best.
