Earlier this week, I saw an interview with Montoya regarding Michael Schumacher. Montoya seems to be blinded by jealousy and envy in failing to acknowledge the accomplishments of what is clearly before his eyes, the greatest race car driver, ever. Schumacher has surpassed all previous racing records, including Ascari´s, Fangio´s and Senna´s and in my view still manages to reflect humility every time he wins, contrary to Montoya´s fits and obvious immaturity.
If it could be arranged, I would love to see Schumacher and Montoya switch teams for one race. My bet is he would destroy Montoya. It is sad that such a talented driver like Juan Pablo can ruin his career by being so reckless, both on the track and with his mouth. Montoya will not last in Formula One. He should take heed of Jackie Stewart´s recent advice: "One can always tell the hard driver, the show off, who screeches in and out, they never finish the race". I immediately thought of Juan Pablo Montoya.
