I agree with the other anonymous comment. Marilyn Monroe was pretty, but she did not look that way naturally. She wasn´t a true blonde, she was brunette. She had peolple that taught her to walk the way that she did and make her look really sexy! I´ve seen a couple of pictures of her when she was just Norma Jean. She was not as beautiful as she was when they turned her into Marilyn Monroe. I think Jayne Mansfield had her own style and beauty. And why is it that when someone makes it big and other people enter the business with similar traits or talents, they are automatically trying to be like the person who came out first? They said the same thing about Christina Aguilerra. She was not trying to be like Britney, they just both came out around the same time. I love Jayne Mansfield!!!!

Jayne, while beautiful, seems to have been a lost soul, at least from what I have read. She died at the age of 34, on June 29, 1967, in a horible automobile accident. The driver, her lawyer I think, could not see the tractor trailer on the road before he plowed into it. Although many believe Ms Mansfield was decapitated, she was actually scalped and died instantly. Luckily enough, three of her 5 children were in the back seat of the car and unharmed. I have also read a little about Jayne´s obsession with the ocult - and some believe she was a member of the church of satan, but more research is needed before I will believe that as fact.

today we have alot of Marilyn Monroe wannabes (anna nichole)and fonys like(christina Agularia)but i got to give props to jane for being the first and the most fonyest .she tryed to be to much like marilyn .she wasint as talented or sexy or famous and marilyn made her look like a man .if she was herself im sure she could have been great but she´s no MARILYN and there will never be another marilyn are another marilyn ripoff like jane.

People need to stop talking so rudely about the dead. To those of you who do talk badly about people who have passed on, whether Jaynie, or Marilyn, or any other person, one thing... Dont you have anything better to do then to try to bring these people down to your trashy level. Fan sites are only for their beloved fans. By the way, for the jerks here speaking so coldly before of Jayne... what have you done with your life? will people really miss you when you die? Probably not, because you were all cold hearted people who dont know how to let angels in heaven rest. Besides, you probably waste everyone elses precious time. Leave these sites to the fans! I read once that under the terms of her will she was to be cremated, and that during the cremation service a recording of the song "The Shadow of Your Smile" (Theme from "The Sandpiper) was to be played. I kon´t know whether this is true, but if it is, it creates a wonderful image of her because the song is so beautiful.

she was beautiful.. even though she tried to hard to look like marilyn monroe.
marilyn is a million times prettier. they both died tragically.
