Alan Ladd was my fav actor & still is. i 1st saw him in the earyly 40´s. i´m pushing 70 and still search for videos/dvd´s for films of his i don´t have . he may have been a so so actor but he inpressed me. he & perry como were my idles. they both appeared to be of the same mold, just plain and unassuming nice guys.
