my opinions-after searching my archives, i as yet have not found info on cooper´s height, however somewhere
in my memory I recall the figure 5´7",i´ll keep looking.When, people say alice is God, they don´t really mean it,relax.
If you were in your late 50´s and still had a rock following which fills most stadiums,would you retire?Really,
retirement must be boring.I agree the old stuff (music) is certainly, at least, some of the best, as well as Cooper´s
early solo stuff. I´m not much for this hiring different musicians for each album style, to me the original Alice Cooper
band was the BEST and indeed none of what is happening today would exist without them, that chemical mixture
of personalities and talents, when found, the magic happens.Alice Cooper,Micheal Bruce,Dennis Dunaway,Neal
Smith and Glen"the blond bomber"Buxton.Unfortunately, Glen Buxton has passed on, I recall reading the book
"Me, Alice" the autobiography of Alice Cooper, which a highschool friend borrowed from the library, then gave to
me,At the end of the Billion Dollar Baby Tour, when the band were, at that point, sick of touring and probably each other, as well, Alice made his first attempt at sobriety, that same month Glen was rushed to the hospital, he had
overdosed on booze or simply was in a state of alcohol poisoning,booze with little rest and food,they cut him open
and drained some booze out of him and stitched him back up. They told him that if he ever touched another drink
it would kill him, as Cooper put it, he was either on the wagon or in the ground. The Muscle Of Love album followed, but apparently the spark betwwen the band was gone.Glen Buxton, "The Blond Bomber" (notorious for
chasing blond women) was born on Nov 10th, 1947, and passed away on Oct 19th, 1997 at age 49. Ironically,
Glen had given Alice his first drink in an old crooked house in Topanga Canyon.

Alcie Cooper, is King of Theatre /shock rock and a master showman, blowing away the wannabes and pretenders of the throne ( Marilyn Manson, SlipKnot, Kiss etc ) But Alice is no one dimensional stage character, his music and lyrics were far ahaed of their time touching on such social issues as child abuse and alcoholisim . I was fortunate to recently see him live at MeadowBrook in NH and at 56 years of age he still can bury many younger performers!
