3LW (Three Little Women) is a musical group, whose members of the foundation were Naturi Cora Maria Naughton, born May 20, 1984, Adrienne Eliza Bailon, born October 24, 1983, Kiely Alexis Williams, born July 9, 1986. Being an all-girl group, it can be said to show similarities with Sugababes.
The initial formation of the group was done by Michelle Williams, mother of Kiely, who wanted a singing outlet for her daughter. She became the manager of the group.
In August 2002, founding member Naturi Naughton left and announced that she had been forced out of 3LW. Before the year's end, the ladies held various auditions in Atlanta, Los Angeles and New York in search of a third member. Jessica Benson made the cut and joined 3LW in December.
