Jonathan was born Danbury, Connecticut, USA. His career began at age 5, acting in television commercials. He appeared in small parts in several films and TV shows before his first starring role in the 1990 film NeverEnding Story II: The Next Chapter, The (1990). Since then he also starred in popular films such as Ladybugs (1992) and recently starred as Lucas Wolenczak in Steven Spielberg's television series "SeaQuest DSV" (1993). I can´t beleive it, i watched one of your movies ladybugs only recently and looked you up on the internet to see what other movies you were in and then found out Jonathan Brandis passed away in 2003 & it was so heartbreaking when i read all about it, it brought tears 2 me, But lets hope your in a better place now. ALL YOUR FANS WILL MISS U & DAT INCLUDES ME Cyndi!
